The Fae Guard: Summary & Pitch

The Fae Guard is an immersive experience within the enchanted forest that allows attendees to become official members of the Forest Fae Guard, a group of Fae Folk who have joined hands to help keep the forest and it's inhabitants safe, by completing a string of small tasks through the park.

The Fae Guard's main components are Fae Folk Actors/Actresses who will help get people to participate in the simple tasks located close to the main Booth Tent, and the tasks themselves: Task one incorporates an easily accessible physical challenge, where attendees fling glowing orbs into a target as an "accuracy test"! This is done with an oversized, easily accessible slingshot made of recycled materials, like exercise bungees. The second task is in the form of a word scramble, where attendees will help a struggling Fae Guard complete a poorly written poem for another Fae resident of the forest. The final Trial is that of a riddle, in the spirit of Fae lore where fairies are often malicious but tricky none the less. Recruits are encouraged to decide between two figures, a pixie and a fairy, one who tells lies and one who speaks truth! With each trial completed, they're going to be given a seal of approval in their Fae Guard Field guide in the form of a simple stamp, and their final acceptance into the Fae Guard comes with the completion of the final challenge.

Now, these new members of the Fae Guard and tasked with keeping the Enchanted Forest safe, attendees can wander the woods knowing they're now an official part of this enchanting world!

The physical takeaways are the sticker and small zine Field Guide, which will include a copy of the park map to help them while they're in the park, and leave them with something that's still practical after they've finished the tasks.
